What Our Clients Say

We believe that the best way to understand people is to listen to them, deeply, in a safe, non judgemental way

"I came to see Aisling suffering from Anxiety and Panic Attacks. She was so kind and gentle with me and helped me understand why this was happening to me. She helped me figure it out. The bodywork and breathing we did alongside the talking really helped me calm down and learn to cope. I was able to face my fears. Slowly I grew stronger. I went beyond dealing with my worries and made changes to my work that I’d wanted to make for years. Thank you Aisling, I’m still using the tools you’ve given me to help me, my family and my friends!"

"I brought my 10 year old to Deirdre when she was struggling in school socially and having difficulty sleeping. Deirdre made the sessions fun for my daughter and really built up her confidence. Deirdre helped my daughter to understand her feelings and together they worked on effective and fun exercises. My daughter is sleeping well now and much happier in school. I would highly recommend Deirdre."

- K, Stillorgan

"Noeleen is an amazing counsellor. She has a very calming caring attitude and has been willing to go the extra mile to help with both my anxiety and finding ways to help with my ADHD systems. She has helped me to develop skill to deal with bereavement, anxiety and depression, She has helped me with coping mechanisms for when I become overwhelmed and she helped me find my voice again. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional, calming and caring psychotherapist."

"When I met Deirdre a year ago I was barely functioning in work and my anxiety was creeping into all areas of my life. When lockdown came along it certainly didn't help! Her constant support, kindness and coaching in exercises that I could apply to my life, really helped me. But more than that Deirdre, you helped me to understand what was behind my anxiety and you helped me to build my self confidence up again. I am so glad I did not cancel that first session! Thank you for everything."

- M, DunLaoghaire

"I was really depressed when I first met Aisling, out of work and not sure what to do or where to go. Looking back, we worked through so much together, not just dealing with my depression, but helping me figure out who I was and what was good about me. Working with her got me back on my feet and back to work and my job is going great. I still catch up with her from time when I hit a speedbump and she’s always there to listen and help me figure out how to deal with it."

"My sessions with Noeleen have been nothing short of transformative and I now consider them to be an essential part of my well-being, one that I would not be without. Noeleen’s compassionate and gentle nature is a constant source of encouragement and support."

"I came to Deirdre because I was binge eating and it was getting out of control. She helped me to understand what was going on physically, mentally and emotionally. I especially liked the CBT element of our sessions. It gave me the power to change my thought patterns. I could not have done this without Deirdre's warmth, expertise and kindness."

- N, Dublin 6W

"I have been working with Noeleen for the past six months and have found our sessions incredibly beneficial. Noeleen offers valuable insights and guides thoughts to helpful outcomes, while suggesting practices and exercises that relieve stress and anxiety along the way. Her compassion and kindness as she works is also a key factor in enabling difficult conversations take place in a safe and supportive context."

"Aisling has an approachable, comforting, kind and understanding aura about her. She makes you feel at ease as soon as you step in the door, which helped me tremendously as I am an anxious person. She helped me to open up and break through past issues. We worked together to resolve problems and I always felt better after I left. Sometimes, a kind face, a comforting smile and words of encouragement are all you need to feel better."

"College was very hard for me. I fell out with friends and could not make new ones. I was really low and in a dark place. Deirdre gave me back my belief in myself. While I dealt with some very tough stuff in session, I always felt safe and really listened to. Deirdre is very kind and patient. She also brought some fun into our sessions which really helped me. I’m in my final year now and I am enjoying college. I have lots of tools to use from our sessions. My confidence has grown a lot and I have made friends. Deirdre, thank you for believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself."

- K, Wicklow

I am a Dad with two young boys and can say with great confidence that working with Noeleen on a weekly basis has helped me enormously. I can’t recommend her highly enough."

"Aisling, the job came through so I finished up here last week so didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to you. I’ve really enjoyed our chats.. so good….helped me file my thoughts and sent me home each week feeling good about myself and what I’m doing..
You have been the real star of my time here. Keep doing what you’re doing exactly how you’re doing it."

"Deirdre I cannot thank you enough for all you are doing for my son and for us as parents. Our communication with him and with each other is much better and the relationship we now have with our son is more than I could have imagined in our first parental session. I have my beautiful boy back and we are much better as a family. Thank you."

- M & J, Dublin 14

"Thank you so much for all you have taught me over the past year. I came to you in a time of need and I cannot thank you enough for everything. I now have skills that I will use for the rest of my life to help me. Thank you for being so kind and compassionate. You truly have changed my life."

"I started with Aisling 3 months post stroke. I was suffering from extreme anxiety and mental and physical trauma. I did not know who I was anymore nor how I could continue living. With the help of Aisling’s wisdom and guidance I began on the road to recovery. My balance and co-ordination were very poor. I learned how to tune into my body and to help it to function as one body again rather than separate parts, using gentle somatic movement; I learned to listen to and feel into what was going on in my body and my body learned to communicate with me and re-integrate and function as a whole again. Aisling was very gentle in her approach, using somatic work alongside counselling to help me regain confidence to go out into the world again without being in constant fear of the ‘what if’. She also gave me the titles of many very interesting books and articles to read which also added to my recovery. I would not be where I am today without her wonderful help and am forever in her debt. I would not hesitate in recommending Aisling."

- Linda W, Dublin

"I came to Deirdre 2 years ago with Panic attacks that were preventing me from working and socialising. Her belief in me, her understanding, kindness, encouragement and practical exercises really worked. I have so much more belief in myself now that I have changed my job and we are about to move house. But most importantly I know you “cannot unlearn what you have learned” , so now I have tools for life to help if things get stressful again."

- J, Dublin 16

"Aisling, thank you for your warmth, patience, empathy and wisdom. You helped me through a very difficult time with my ex-partner and all my health problems and gave me the strength to keep going and keep believing in myself. Thank you for believing in me. Your energy shines through."
